Subwoofer Boxes

Do you sell your boxes separately?

Answer-  No, Most of the boxes are extremely tight tolerance, to ensure subwoofer fitment we only supply with a subwoofer as a minimum. Most boxes are built specifically for the sub.

Do your subwoofer boxes fit other subs than the listed brands and models

Answer- Mostly no. We have yet to find a subwoofer that fits that we don’t offer as a package.

What if I already have a subwoofer that is the same as in your package, will you supply a box?

Answer- Maybe. We look at this as a case by case basis, please contact us if this is you.

Is it cheaper to buy in packages?

Answer- Yes. We have a sliding scale with our pricing, basically the more products in the package. The higher the percentage discount on the equipment. The subwoofer boxes are also reduced with products.

Do you have a technician I can speak to if I'm fitting myself?

Answer- Yes. We have a tech that can talk to you anytime of the work day, this tech is hands-on daily. So they will be able to answer most of your questions.

Are you subwoofer boxes easy to fit?

Answer- Yes. Most of our boxes require zero modification to fit. The most modification that is required from some of the boxes would be cutting some carpet with a Stanley knife, or cutting some plastic. No metal or steel is cut.

Do they come with instruction?

Answer- Some. We are working hard to produce easy to follow instructions, if they box you are looking at does not have instructions we have a tech on hand to guide you through.

How much room is there with some of the boxes

Answer- Some boxes are extremely tight, we have now pressed our own mesh grills for sub boxes to allow more clearance with the rear of the seat, some boxes we have to build specifically for the sub. Some vehicles are extremely limited.

Freight

What freight company does XMax use?

Answer- We use 3 to 4 different logistic companies because of the many different sizes, weights and locations. Not one logistics company offers all the best solutions. Some specialise in large packages, others in small. Some don’t send outside major city areas.

Do you send freight with insurance?

Answer- Yes.  All packages are sent with insurance and signature on delivery (where possible)

Do you send tracking details for freighted orders?

Answer. Yes. Tracking will be sent to you via email with a tracking link.

Do you send international (outside of Australia)

Answer Yes. We are consistently sending packages all over the world. Unfortunately we don’t have a international shipping calculator on our website, so if you are from outside Australia please contact us via email with you details for freight costs.

Installation

Can XMax recommend an installer to fit products in my local area?

Answer. Maybe.  We are communicating and working with other installers in other states to provide installation of our packages. It’s important that we recommend high quality, knowledgeable and passionate fitters. We are happy to work with other installers if they require guidance, but experience matters.

Can you supply cables for a supplied system?

Answer- Yes.  We can provide a cable package to suit your system and vehicle.

What would you expect the installation price to be of the system?

Answer. We can give you an indication of how many hours the system should take to fit by a qualified (quality) installer. Hourly rates will change according to your location. But most decent installers are a minimum of $110/hr
